THE TRIP:

This trip runs through the most famous area of Northern Norway, the Lofoten Islands. An archipelago made up of mountainous islands sculpted by ice from the old glacier. The purpose of this trip is to explore and get to know first-hand all the famous corners that hide this area, travelling in a van and carry out daily excursions and activities. Every day we will discover hidden gems of Lofoten, stepping out from the typical routes, hiking to the beaches, cliffs and driving between the smallest islands, but without omitting the must-see places such as Reine, Ramberg or Å. We will revive the Viking’s traditions in the stunning LOFTR museum and we will dive into the ocean and between the majestic fjords in double kayaks. On the last day enjoy a unique spa with hot tubs and saunas with lunch on a traditional Norwegian fishing boat transformed into a first-class vessel, in Tromsø. The journey begins in Bodø and ends in Tromsø and throughout the trip, we will be above the Arctic Circle, which determines the hours of daylight (up to 20h!) and the vegetation/fauna that we will find.

DAY 2: BODØ-REINE

First day of the adventure! We’re heading to the ferry to the Lofoten Islands to begin marveling at its unique landscapes. Mountains and cliffs sculpted by the old ice, have created an archipelago worthy of any fantasy novel. We will visit the towns of “Å”, Reine and Ramberg . Along the way, we will see the stands with dried cod, the heavenly beaches and the gigantic fjords that give rise to numerous troll legends. Accommodation and dinner in Norwegian rorbua huts.

DAY 3: REINE-LYDERSEN

It’s time to enjoy one of the most iconic places in all of Lofoten: Reine! Our visit today will not end in the village, as today’s main goal is to reach the top of Reinebringen, a trail of approximately 1,700 stone steps made by a team of Nepalese Sherpas that takes you to a breathtaking view of Reine and the surrounding islands. Overnight and dinner in Norwegian rorbua huts.

DAY 4: LYDERSEN-HENNINGSVÆR

Our fourth day on the road will be more than exciting! We’ll start the morning hiking to the Kvalvika beach, one of the most beautiful beaches of the Lofoten Islands. We will visit the remote area of Nusfjord and around noon we enter one of the most realistic Viking museums. Finishing our journey on our way to Henningsvær we won’t miss the most bizarrely placed football pitch in the world. Accommodation and dinner in the Henningsvær Rorbua.

DAY 5: HENNINGSVÆR-BLEIK

Waking up in the fjords of Lofoten, we couldn’t start the day any better than by venturing out on a kayak tour to observe the local sea life and birds with a local guide. Today’s day is spent in the northernmost part of the island group. We head to the beautiful town of Sortland and stop in the area to admire the views. On the way, we can see everything that defines Lofoten: fishing villages, big mountains, crystal clear beaches and cliffs. Overnight stay and dinner in Norwegian cabins, surrounded by nature and facing the ocean in Bleik for two nights.

DAY 6: BLEIK-ANDØYA

On the second day on the island of Andøya, we will take advantage of some of the magnificent trekking in the area and will be able to see the cliffs and walk along the beaches. Weather permitting, we will hike to the top of Matind, a mountain from where we will surely feel as if we are on top of all the Lofoten islands. Accommodation and dinner in the same Norwegian cabins in Bleik.

DAY 7: ANDØYA-TROMSØ

Our day begins by taking the famous ferry of Andenes in the direction of Senja Island, on the way we will travel on one of the most picturesque roads, for stunning landscapes, before arriving at the city of Tromsø. Here awaits a unique experience: cruise on a transformed, traditional Norwegian fishing vessel with a spa, hot tubs and lunch included! We will take a tour of the city and also, up to the demand, go up to Storsteinen with our guide, a mountain on the outskirts of the city, which allows us to contemplate the whole city from the heights. This night we will celebrate with a special, farewell dinner. Accommodation and dinner in the Clarion Hotel.

DAY 8: TROMSØ-OSLO-ORIGIN AIRPORT

Time to say goodbye to Norway! After breakfast, we will go to the airport of Tromso to fly to the capital of Norway and from Oslo to the airport of destination in Spain.
