The Viking Archipelago
About the trip
The Viking Archipelago tours the most famous area of Northern Norway, the Lofoten Islands. An archipelago formed by mountainous islands sculpted by the ice of the ancient glacier.
The purpose of this trip is to explore and get to know firsthand the essential and hidden corners that this area contains, taking walks and daily excursions. Every day we will discover the hidden jewels of Lofoten, departing from the typical routes, hiking to the beaches, cliffs, mountains and driving between the smaller islands, but without omitting the essential places such as Reine, Ramberg or Å.
We will relive the Viking traditions in the impressive LOFTR museum and immerse ourselves in the ocean and among the majestic fjords in kayaks. On the last day in Tromsø, we will enjoy the capital of northern Norway. The trip starts in Bodø and ends in Tromsø and throughout the trip we will be above the Arctic Polar Circle, which determines the hours of daylight and the vegetation/fauna that we will find.

Full of energy we get up to greet a new day! Along the way we will stop to visit the cod drying racks, the paradisiacal beaches and the gigantic fjords that give rise to numerous legends of trolls. This day we leave the island part and change the environment to the Norwegian taiga, where we will experience deep forests and vast landscapes with mountains shaped by glaciers.

From the charming town of Sjøvegan, the route to Senja Island crosses impressive Norwegian landscapes. The road will take us through the Stønnesbotn Fjord and we will head to the highest goal of the trip: the Hesten peak, located on the famous Senja Island.
